Monday Technique Card 2
If you didn't put the little cupcakes (with lots of glitter on them) on the card you could use this as a male card, as the Tangerine Tango and Old Olive are a lovely combination for male or female.

Another Circle Circus
Whilst I was in my room making this card my helper was out in the family room where I have my classes wreaking havoc. Most of the cards are on the floor but Franklin doesn't look too worried at all. I have a few cats that like to have an afternoon nap on my star velvet cloth!!!!

Circle Circus
I have had this set sitting there for a while so I thought I would dust it off (in my house there is always plenty of dust I don't think I am the world's best housekeeper - but then there are better things to do in life, such as making cards isn't there).I have tried to use colours lately that I wouldn't normally use, so I have been through my pink phase and now I am trying Elegant Eggplant, Mellow Moss and Pale Plum together.
In this card after I stamped the images the card still looked a bit pale so I added the pink brads from the rich regal set, it does actually look a bit darker in real life. In the first card there were only three layers which is very good for me but I found this one needed an extra layer of Pale Plum behind the Elegant Eggplant layer.

Mojo Monday
This is this weeks Mojo Monday and with having just had Father's Day here I thought I would continue on with the masculine theme for this card. The first card is lovely and sparkly but the camera just doesn't want to pick up all that sparkle (can I blame the camera again!!!). Every photographer (???) in the house thought they could get a better picture but this is the best of a bad bunch I think. Even Stampin Up's lovely metallic card isn't showing up all that well - I think if I give enough hints (whinges) I might get a new camera. So I had to have another try still with metallic papers but without the bling (I feel there is something missing without the bling).Thursday, September 3, 2009

Mojo Monday
This is the latest Mojo Monday and my version is below - I am not 100% happy with this one but you have to try different things and so I thought I would try some silver embossing on silver. As it is Fathers Day on Sunday this card was meant to be a more masculine one but it might be a bit to shiny and bright for a man!!!
