Paper Napkin Transfer

Whilst on the Christmas theme a friend gave me some absolutely beautiful paper serviettes, so I am just revisiting an earlier class - paper napkin transfer and popping in an extra card.

The second flower card just has the most wonderful colours in it and looks fabulous made up into a card. Its a waste to use them as serviettes. Everyone that came to the class says they can't help themselves when they go into a shop now they have to look at the serviettes. One lady says they will be having barbeques every night in summer to use up all the serviettes she bought. (It is a bit addictive once you get going)

Even More Napkins

More napkin transfers - I seem to have collected several more packets of napkins in the last couple of days and they all have to be trialled on a card. I will have to stop looking in stores or I will end up with a supply of napkins to last a lifetime. It is pretty bad when even my children start coming home with packets of napkins to try. It really is contagious.

The first class gets to try it out this Thursday I will let you know if they get hooked as well.

June Classes

For the June classes we will be doing Napkin Transfer Crayon Resist and Faux Embossing. I will never look at a Napkin the same ever again. Every time I walk into a shop that sells paper napkins I check them out to see if they are suitable for making cards, I think I have bought about 8 packets of napkins so far. Forget about the boring plain old ones, they have to have lots of colour and be suitable to cut up into nice shapes. The options are endless. I have taken pictures of a few of the ones I have made so far - it certainly is a bit addictive. So come along and try it out yourself, I have listed the class times on the tab on the right of the blog so if you are interested just contact me.
