This is the sketch for this weeks
Mojo Monday and I chose to do the square one this week. I had lots of fun playing around with the punches to make my little rose and embossinge birdcages from the lovely Aviary set.
The inside is one of the bird cages I embossed that didnt work out so well so I cut around it and popped it inside. So it wasnt wasted and adds that little bit extra inside
Here is a close up of the rose, by the time I spritzed all the layers with water, scrunched them all up and then spray with the lovely champagne shimmer paint it just looks gorgeous in real life in the Cherry Cobler and all shimmery.
The lace I just used some red tape and pleated it onto the tape to give a bit more interest
Stamps: Aviary and Well Scripted
Paper: Black, Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobler and Love Letter DSP
Ink: Versamark and black embossing powder
Accessories: Punches, ribbon, shimmer paint and brad

ReplyDeleteI based the flower on a tutorial from: http://creativestampingideas.blogspot.com/2011/01/flower-tutorial.html#comments I used the boho blosssom punch for the centre flowers as I didnt have the other punch and I sprayed it with shimmer paint when the rose was completed
