Just Add Ink 40

This is the Just Add Ink challenge for this week make a card using these colours:


Now I must say I had a great deal of trouble with this card as they are not colours that I would normally put together (I suppose that's the idea), so I thought I would use a technique I have not used for a while - using markers on embossed vellum.  This is the card I came up with:

Embossing on vellum and then colouring the velum gives a nice soft finish to a card and I thought that would go well with the soft colours of the challenge.

Card:  Sahara Sand, Blushing Bride , Pear Pizzazz and Bashful Blue
Ink:  Sahara Sand
Stamp:  Teeny Tiny Sentiments and Fifth Avenue Floral
Accessories: White Embossing Powder, Punch and Ribbon

    Sue, your card is beautiful. I love the vellum lillies, I would never have thought of using it with that stamp.
